It was easy to put together and very well made. My is very quiet and give a terrific workout to my buns! The Gazelle is a God send! (Cynthia, GA) I have been trying to lose 10 pounds and one dress size for over a year. Now that I am middle-aged, it is harder than ever for me to lose weight. After trying a variety of exercise equipment and routines, I finally struck gold with The Gazelle. I structured an exercise program for myself where I walk for 10 minutes without the pistons then I walk 15 minutes with the pistons, another 10 minutes without the pistons and another 15 minutes with the pistons for a total of 50 minutes each day. After maintaining this routine for one month, I was able to meet both my weight loss and dress size goals. I am so pleased with the results of The Gazelle. I read in the reviews that the machine made noise, so my Hubby put it together using WD 40. The Gazelle is quiet. As for the DVD'S, I thought I would have to deal with a loud and excited Tony, but instead he is mild mannered and encouraging. I now exercise with Tony everyday and my 20 year old daughter and 17 year old son exercise with Tony a couple of days a week just to keep in shape. Of course, just like any exercise, it takes time out of your day's schedule, but well worth it. What a wonderful addition to my life!!! My theripist likes it because it is a very low impact workout. I LOVE the DVD vidios Tony has, He is a great instructer and motivator. As far as peoples comments aboat how noisy this machine is, I used MARINE WHEEL BEARING GREASE on the MAIN CROSS SHAFT. The advantage is that MARINE WHEEL BEARING GREASE is a VERY HIGH LUBE GREASE THAT DOES NOT BREAK DOWN OR PUSH IT'S WAY OUT. It does a very good job and you don't have to keep spraying WD-40 on the bushing. My Cross Trainer is quiet as a mouse. Sweet Ride! (Karin, CT) Let me just say I love, love, love this Gazelle! It arrived 4 to 5 days after I ordered it and it was easy to put together. I'm a mom and I did it all by myself in one and a half hours! I have the old white Gazelle that Tony made about 5 years ago and I believe I paid about the same as I paid for this one back then. What an improvement! I liked my old gazelle. I just worked out on it this past weekend but when I got on the pro, I could feel right away it had a smoother ride than my old gazelle. It dips or something when you workout taking the stress off of your knees and feet more than my old Gazelle did and I like the heart rate function. I don't understand those people who say it's junky and squeeky. I liked the first Gazelle so much I decided to upgrade to the pro and I think that it's the top of the line!
